Fay
I have to say, I am not totally thrilled with the development of this storm. While I would not be totally opposed to not going to work for a few days, I don't want to deal with anything hurricane-related, or tornado-related

rough night in the grove
Looks like someone had a rough night in the grove

Hopefully they only thing they are asking is, "where are my shoes" when they wake up from their drunken stupor.
Not atypical at all for the Grove, except for the fact that the shoes are still there and it was Sunday, which is typically a quiet night for that area....

Tastalicious Report: Gusto Fino
Today I left work early because I was "asked" to support a cause yesterday, and in the process I got sick. So on my way home to the Gables, I stopped at a little local boutique restaurant called Gusto Fino for some comfort food (I'm Italian America.)
I've been here several times before and have nothing but good things to say about it. It's tiny, embraces it's Italianness, and the food is always good (my favorite day to go is Wednesday because the soup of the day is Italian Wedding Soup.)
I always order a panini, which, while expensive, is totally worth the money. You get freshly-sliced meats and veggies on Ciabatta bread, friendly service and enough sandwich to fill you up for the rest of the day. yummmmm

Only in Miami
Only in Miami is it considered a safe, normal practice to buy food from a truck. In fact I know several people who buy avocados, mangos and other fruits from stands and trucks on street corners. It makes sense though, when I was in Costa Rica everyone bought fruits, cheeses, breads and juices from roadside stands. It's cheaper and most people have the plants in their yards (both here and in Latin America)
