The Miami Herald reported that the Beacon Council, in conjunction with others, is launching a new campaign/blitz to brand Miami as an ideal place to relocate business.
My opinion? Miami is below the national average on pay structure and educated workers. If you look at the stats, the majority of this city doesn't have a bachelor's degree.
If this campaign works then it will be great for the area, but more needs to be done within our community to encourage better education and more livable salaries. It just makes sense, the more qualified workers leave the area for cheaper housing and better pay, customer service and community pride drop (case in point, Miami is dead last in volunteerism) and companies move elsewhere as a result.

Miami really does have so much going for it, and yet so much against it.
