Hurricane Ike

So you may have heard that we are having some stormy weather down here in South Florida. We have been super fortunate down here in Miami, but the weather has been kind of crazy.

Morning Rain - Gustav, no!

Quite different from yesterday. I woke up today to the pouring sheets of rain that the forecasters are calling the outer bands of Gustav. It looks like the beach plans are put on hold for a bit. Here's what I saw:

I have to say, I am not totally thrilled with the development of this storm. While I would not be totally opposed to not going to work for a few days, I don't want to deal with anything hurricane-related, or tornado-related
